Beginner classes at the beautiful YogaSol studio. A spacious, light-filled space with air conditioning/heating, bathroom/changing facilities and lots of props.
This class is taught in a slow flow style and is suitable for absolute beginners as well as those wanting a more gentle, slower practice and anyone wishing to spend time refining or deepening postures. Classes incorporate asana (postures), pranayama (breath exercises) and relaxation. Variations are offered to accommodate different bodies and/or health considerations.

Restorative Yoga is becoming increasingly well-known and sought after. It is a way to relax and restore body and mind as you adopt different yoga postures fully supported with blocks, blankets, straps and bolsters (not necessarily all at once!). Generally, poses are sustained for 5 to 15 minutes and the effect is that you are able to let go of stored emotions and mental and physical tension – as your body relaxes, so does your mind.
Although having practised yoga before is not a prerequisite, it may be helpful to have been to at least a couple of Beginner yoga classes beforehand to have some familiarity with the base poses. Variations are offered to accommodate different bodies and/or health considerations.
